Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for the delivery of psychological services to older adults with complex psychological issues. Clinical work will also encompass work with carers and families, group work, neuropsychological assessment and formulation.

In addition to direct work you will offer supervision, consultancy, team formulation and training to colleagues, with a focus on shared learning, reflection and continual development.

 As well as the post being supported by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, there will be opportunities to link with other psychologists within the Integrated Delivery Team. In addition, you will be part of a wider network of active psychologists working in the older adult specialism across Suffolk.

Our locality has recently reformed into a Care Group which has a new leadership team – this includes a Clinical Director who is a psychologist, which helps support the psychology agenda and direction of travel.

We are a collaborative, committed and supportive service with well-established arrangements for supervision. We have strong links with the University of East Anglia, which supports our research interests. We are keen to ensure our team access training and Continuing Professional Development opportunities.  

Travel will be required locally.

Hours: 18.75 hours per week
