Consultant in Neurology (Two posts available)

First and foremost, this job is about delivering the highest clinical standards to all of our patients, whether that is helping prevent, diagnose or treat those who rely and trust us to take care of them. It’s also about taking and sharing the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Neurology service.

You’ll have a big part to play as being a knowledgeable and inspiring teacher to more junior staff and medical students and you’ll demonstrate active and contributory participation in continuing medical education. You’ll bring to the job your strong personal and clinical credibility and be skilled at using these to develop and improve our Neurology services.

It goes without saying that you’ll need to be experienced in Clinical Audit and Governance and be passionate with how this is embedded in clinical practice to improve the quality of care provided to patients.
