Senior Consultant – Outpatients Subject Matter Expert

This role will involve working alongside Delivery and Workstream Leads across engagements to help ensure the quality and impact of our Outpatients productivity programmes.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Operational experience of managing a large (multi-site) Outpatients department and leading successful, large scale improvement projects across these
• Familiar with best practice in Outpatients including booking processes, patient letters and communication methods eg text, referral triage, patient waiting areas and FU rates for all OP specialities
• Familiar with RTT rules and the concept of slot utilisation and it's monitoring and improvement
• Expert abilities in data analysis relating to outpatients; able to create insight and identify opportunities from dashboards and raw data sets
• Ability to build strong relationships with and influence clinical and booking teams to drive operational efficiencies

Years of experience:

5-10 years operational management experience within the health service or management consultancy within the healthcare sector
