Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist for EP

We are currently recruiting for a Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist for EP to work at Bupa Cromwell Hospital, which is an internationally recognised hospital located in the heart of Kensington, London. As part of the lab team, you shall be fully responsible for all types of Electrophysiology/ablation procedures and will be independent in Carto and Cryo-ablation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide haemodynamic monitoring in the Angiography Lab for all cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures including coronary angioplasty, left atrial appendage closures, ASD/PFO closures, TAVIs and right heart catheterisations.
• Assist the Consultant Cardiologist with pacemaker/ICD/ILR implants/explants/revisions.
• Support the Consultant Electrophysiologist in all types of Electrophysiology/ablation procedure and be independent in operating the Carto 3 system and Cryocath.
• Ensue that reports are generated for exams performed in the Angiography lab.
• Have a sound working knowledge of all relevant clinical tests carried out in the department, working accurately and always maintaining high standards of quality.
• Be proactive in keeping up to date with advances in the field of Invasive Cardiology and be willing to attend courses and conferences in order to facilitate this.

 About You:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience and knowledge of all areas of Non-Invasive Cardiology and Invasive Cardiology.
• Expertise in Electrophysiology and pacing is essential as you will be expected to practice independently in the Angiography lab in both of these areas.
• BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) BTEC, HTEC IN MPPM M.S.C.S.T. or equivalent.
• Current ILS Certification.
• IBHRE (EP) or equivalent e.g. BHRS.
• An enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated individual.

This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, plus on-call, with a highly competitive salary.
