An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for a healthcare organisation as a Senior Project Manager – Datix on a permanent basis.

Responsible for ensuring that each implementation of the Datix application meets the customer’s business needs and can deliver the necessary patient safety learning outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide regular status reports on Datix Cloud IQ projects to key stakeholders regarding deadlines, issues and risks
  • Provide regular status reports regarding deadlines, issues and risks;
  • Responsible for ensuring that the implementation of application meet the customer’s business needs and can deliver the necessary patient safety learning outcomes;
  • Deliver DATIX training and provide analysis of incidents;
  • Engaging both managers and clinicians in a continually evolving implementation of the software;
  • Liaise closely with the product management, commercial and business analysis teams to drive improvements for patient outcomes through learning and near misses;
  • Mentor junior members of the professional services team in conjunction with the professional
  • services manager;
  • Keep a lesson’s learned log and feed improvements into the Deployment database.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Must have knowledge and experience within the NHS industry and understanding of the organisation;
  • Ability to engage with all levels of management;
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Experience using Datix;
  • Ability to deliver training to others;
  • Passionate about patient safety;
  • Confident in attending meetings with stakeholders;
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint.
