Interim Head of Communications and Engagement
This is an exciting support role responsible for leading and managing the Communications (Internal and External), and Patient & Public Engagement functions including internal communications, communications, stakeholder engagement, Member Practices Engagement. The role will require close working with all Joint Management Team Members and other senior officers and Board Members.
The successful candidate will be a communications and engagement professional with significant experience of working with executive teams and complex change management issues. They will be able to develop and implement comprehensive communications and engagement strategies and plans, working with colleagues and partners the CCG and CSU.
- Ensure robust media management - proactive and reactive - of complex and/or sensitive stories, advising senior management on handling as appropriate.
- Experience in managing the teams and individuals within the Communication and engagement functions including day to day management including work allocation and performance management.
- Experience of working in a relevant role within an NHS Acute Trust, CCG or other healthcare delivery organisation.
- Proven aptitude in establishing and develop excellent working relationships.
RATE: £400-425 Inside IR35
