Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the corporate nursing function, to include central nursing functions for example Safeguarding, Infection Prevention and Control;
- Ensure the day to day management of this team, mentor and monitor the performance of the team including enhancing their skill set;
- Assist and develop reporting skills around quality, governance and assurance enhancing the data and outputs of this information for the Executive Board;
- Work with the team to standardise reporting, enhancing the output of data from the team;
- Continually work with and improve safer staffing levels, utilising staffing tools available;
- A current registration to the NMC, this can be RGN/RMN;
- Extensive background at senior managerial/mentoring level within a healthcare environment;
- Thorough understanding of the link between governance, assurance and clinical practice;
