A leading healthcare organisation is looking to appoint an experienced senior professional, who holds a background in Learning Disabilities and Autism Commissioning. This person will  undertake a stock take review of the current intensive support and crisis service offers within both statutory and non-statutory services. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake a review of the current intensive support and crisis service offers within both statutory and non-statutory services;
  • Develop a range of options and associated business case to identify the potential solutions, affiliated costs, factors for consideration, risks, procurement and commissioning plan and proposed timescales;
  • Expected to work across Health and Social care organisations understating both the structural constraints and drivers;
  • Ability to engage in constructive discussion with both statutory and non-statutory providers of care to collate and obtain salient information efficiently and effectively;
  • Hold a clear understanding of the LD ASD Transforming Care agenda and drivers along with demonstrable understanding of the main issues surrounding providing care for people with a learning disability, autistic spectrum disorder or both;
A successful candidate will have:
  • Experienced in working across Health and Social care organisations understating both the structural constraints and drivers;
  • Skills in data collection and analysis, business case formulation, report writing and the ability to think strategically and develop a range of options;
  • A clear understanding of regulatory frameworks including CQC;
  • Experience of delivering to tight timescales, utilising, prioritising workloads and project management processes;
