A large healthcare organisation is looking to appoint an exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Governance Lead.

Co-ordinate all clinical governance and safeguarding processes within the organisation, providing assurance of full compliance with all relevant clinical standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Successfully provide guidance and support on clinical governance and safeguarding processes across the organisation;
  • Enable and provide assurance of full compliance with all relevant clinical quality standards and Clinical KPI’s;
  • Challenge existing practices, ensuring that progressive solutions, which consider models of best practice and all relevant policies, procedures and legislation, are incorporated into the organisation’s plans and are implemented;
  • Develop systems for the collection and analysis of data needed to manage the governance and safeguarding agenda to achieve safe and effective high-quality services;
  • Facilitate all audit activity, both local and national;
  • Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration;
  • Track record of successful delivery in a Clinical Governance role in the healthcare sector;
  • Auditing skills across clinical standards and departments;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including listening skills;
  • Able to build a relationship with range of stakeholders.
