My client is an independent healthcare provider going through a time of significant and exciting growth.

They are looking for an experienced project manager who has significant experience of delivering complex LIMS implementations. You will work closely with the LIMS provider and other partners to ensure a clear approach is defined and documented and you will also ensure a good communications strategy is in place. You will proactively identify risks and manage them in-line with agreed policy to ensure the timely and on budget delivery of what is a complex project with multiple technical and organisational workstreams.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and be a Prince2 Practitioner who ideally also has a business change qualification. It is essential that you have delivered large scale LIMS projects before and can demonstrate the management of complex systems integration, for example with EHR systems. My client also requires someone used to producing detailed plans in Microsoft Project and someone who can produce detail rich but succinct reports to executive boards and partners.

You will have experience of working with the NHS and managing third party vendor relationships. In terms of project budget, they need someone who has managed one in excess of £500K. You will be a relationship builder, with an eye for detail and the desire to deliver a complex and multifaceted project, that will change the way a vital service is delivered.
