General Manager ED / Medicines & Urgent Care

Are you and experienced General Manager - Medicines / Urgent Care who has led the day to day management of the Medicines and Urgent Care teams.

My client is looking for urgent support in relation to Urgent Care / A&E and Medicines.This is a senior operational role where your knowledge and experience will add value from day one.

Whilst this is a challenged multi-site organisation this is an exciting opportunity to join a team that has been through a period of change and restructuring.

You will take over the operational management of one of these services and be mainly based across 2 sites dependant on local needs.

The key will be to provide consistent and effective patient care until the newly appointed permanent employee joins in the early New Year. . With increasing patient numbers presenting at A&E and issues with internal patient flows this role will be a challenging post however the client is committed to delivering high standards of patient care over this period and the local exiting team is up for the challenge that winter 2020 is likely to bring.

You will have experience of Urgent Care and Medicines and A&E services - a clinical background could be useful but is not required.

You should be used to working at a senior level (banded equivalent - circa 8c/d). This is a high profile operational position where your ability to influence and lead a team that has been through a challenging period will be extremely important.
