Patient Treatment List (PTL) - Improvement Manager
My client is an independent healthcare provider specialising in the provision of wide-ranging acute healthcare services to individuals throughout the UK.
My client is looking for a PTL Improvement Manager to help the organisation redesign and improve their PTL pathway thus ensuring compliance with national standards, reducing breaches as well as improving efficiency by reducing duplication, extra validation and reducing their reliance on paper-based processes. My client wants to achieve clear pathways for the capture of information electronically. They also need new SOPs in place and staff trained and conversant with new ways of working in the organisation.
In terms of background, they need someone with many years experience gained in acute hospitals, who also possesses an excellent knowledge of PTL / 18 Weeks, NHS rules on access as well PIMS. The right person will have the ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure key operational and performance indicators are met. You will also need expert knowledge of Patient Access Policy and related processes and procedures. In addition to this you will have experience of service re-design and / or service reviews. My client needs an organised logical thinker who is a team player, but still able to get their point across.
