General Manager - Emergency Department
We are working with an NHS Trust in the North West of England who are seeking an experienced 8B operational manager who can also support patient access improvement initiatives for Emergency Care.
This is an operational management role; leading and supporting a busy Emergency Medicine team, however it also includes supporting the Divisional Director of Operations on access improvement including Same Day Emergency Care, Urgent Care by appointment and 24/7 UTC. Initially a three month contract, I would anticipate an extension to support the trust until at least the end of the financial year.
Essential experience includes NHS operational management. Experience as an Emergency Dept General or clinical Manager would be ideal, however candidates who have strong acute operational experience and can demonstrate working knowledge of urgent care from either a primary care or community environment or have covered A&E as part of an on-call rota would be encouraged to apply too.
Inside IR35 an immediate start is available. NHS framework capped rates apply.
