A North West NHS Trust has an opportunity for an experienced interim OD & Inclusion Lead to provide support to the Director of HR & OD, and to drive the delivery of equality and inclusion ensuring that the networks are effective. This is a temporary position, for a period of 5 months.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • To ensure that action plans are delivered in a timely manner and assurance is provided to the workforce strategy group that the necessary steps are being taken to become a more representative and more inclusive employer;
  • Analyse data and identify solutions to the challenge of nurse education and workforce supply;
  • Produce robust plans to maximise the opportunities to nursing students;
  • Support differing entry routes into nursing through the apprenticeship levy and work with nursing colleagues to improve the preceptorship period for newly qualified nurses;
  • Work with colleagues in occupational health and wellbeing, OD and regional wellbeing hubs to ensure the needs of all staff are met during a global pandemic, with focus on both physical and psychological wellbeing.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Experience of researching, consulting, diagnosing issues and identifying solutions;
  • Highly skilled communication skills, with the ability to rapidly build relationships and influence those at a senior level;
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor them to the appropriate audience.
