Family Services and Surgical Division

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated professional to join our senior leadership team and we are inviting applications for the position of Divisional Manager for our Family Services and Surgical Division.

In this role, you’ll be working with Divisional Medical Director and Divisional Head of Nursing and Quality and jointly providing strong leadership, direction, operational and clinical management support to the Divisional team.

A commitment to continuous improvement and the development of high-quality evidence-based acute care is essential, combined with personal drive, enthusiasm, creativity and resilience. This is a demanding, yet highly rewarding opportunity to lead the Division and ensure delivery against high paced demands on the services. You’ll be responsible for workforce of 1,109 and income and expenditure budgets totalling 62.7m. You will be accountable for delivering operational performance and financial targets as well as high quality services to patients based on innovation and best practice.

Already an experienced senior operational leader, you’ll be highly motivated, resilient, and experienced in managing and transforming healthcare services. With demonstrable evidence of effectively managing change, you will be focused to drive and improve the performance of your Division and your team.

You will have an inclusive leadership style and be able to empower and support your team to deliver to their full potential. Outstanding communication, financial knowledge, negotiation and influencing skills will be imperative to your success.
