A West Yorkshire NHS Trust has an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on an interim basis.

The post holder will have an NHS background, a good understanding of business needs and the ability to use key HR metrics to identify risks and opportunities to implement solutions.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • Provide a full range of comprehensive and professional HR advice and support services;
  • Manage the performance and direction of specified functions including HR Advisors;
  • Maintain and develop positive employee relations and wider employee involvement in partnership with recognised staff side and regional trade union representatives;
  • Work in partnership with senior managers to achieve their business objectives through the fair and effective management of their people, reducing corporate liabilities through effective risk management of Human Resources including advice on very complex employment issues;
  • Support and lead on Covid-related initiatives such as redeployment.
A successful candidate will have:
  • In-depth knowledge of key current HR issues and the ability to apply this knowledge to the Trust’s strategy;
  • Extensive specialist knowledge and understanding of a full range of HR policies and best practice, employment law, and their application;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
