Our client an NHS organisation is looking to appoint an Interim Deputy Chief Operating Officer. This role will be at interim contractor rates under the CCS NMNC Framework at Band 9.
This role will start ASAP and will be for 3 months in the first instance.

Main responsibilities:
  • Deputise for Chief Operating Officer across the full range of their duties
  • Line management responsibility for the site team, and take responsibility for ED and Unplanned Care
  • Deliver the Trusts trajectories for 4 hour emergency care
Key skills and experience:
  • Masters level qualification or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of the Health and Social care management environment and roles and responsibilities within it
  • Ability to develop strategy for the Health Economy
  • Ability to assimilate & co-ordinate various agendas prioritising appropriately
  • Performance management methodology
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the NHS as a whole, ability to rapidly assimilate knowledge of whole organisation and continually develop new skills
  • Evidence of knowledge of successful change management processes
  • Project management skills across a range of different disciplines and agencies
