First Community Health and Care is seeking an exceptional Executive Director of Operations to provide Board Level leadership to our Outstanding Community Services.  The post-holder will actively promote, and strategically develop, community services and pathways within the local health and care system working in partnership with primary, social and acute care partners in particular as well as a range of other partners.

First Community Health and Care is an employee-owned social enterprise, delivering NHS Community Services in East Surrey and parts of West Sussex. You will be joining us as we move into a new and exciting phase in our history.  As a key partner in the local Integrated Care Partnership (CRESH) and Surrey Heartlands ICS we wish to build on our existing strengths of delivering outstanding quality services, strong financial management and collaboration to deliver a joined-up approach to health, care and wellbeing for the population we serve.

The experience of responding with partners to the Coronavirus pandemic provides a platform for us to accelerate our strategy to put people, and therefore population health, at the centre of contemporary and integrated services for the future.

We would like to hear from you if you have experience in:

  • Delivering high quality services through excellent leadership in a healthcare setting
  • Fostering collaborative partnerships with a proven track record of leading clinical services change within and across organisations
  • Keeping people at the centre of everything you do and being a highly visible, compassionate, and inclusive leader

Role-modelling our organisational values and behaviours is essential and you be joining a friendly, professional, and clinically led social enterprise with a highly engaged workforce and an outstanding reputation with regulators and system partners.

You will be a proactive completer/finisher who is flexible and resilient.  You will be supported by experienced Associate Directors in the operational delivery of services and your focus will be on developing them within their role, while leading the necessary changes to ensure delivery of the Company’s strategic plan and playing a key role in the wider system transformation agenda as we formalise our emergent integrated care partnership.
