Senior Estates Officer – Electrical

A large NHS organisation are looking for an experienced Estates professional who is electrical bias, ideally AP for HV/LV also. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operational management of electrical services across all London sites including BMS, fire safety, automatic door, access control, PAT testing, fixed wire testing, lifts and more;
• To manage the provision of electrical services, ensuring that these are safe and available for their intended use, and that the Trust complies with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements;
• Day to day management of reactive maintenance on matters related to electrical services;
• Delivery of internal department SLAs and KPIs;
• Ensure implementation of safe systems of works in line with HTM, HSE and guidance;
• Undertakes Authorised Person responsibilities in relation to specified systems;
• Work closely with the Building & Staffing Senior Estates Officer, Mechanical and Water Safety Senior Estates Officer and report to the Maintenance and Compliance Manager;
• Attend and chair meetings as required.

A successful candidate will have:

• Educated to Degree level in relevant Electrical Engineering or Building Services equivalent experience;
• “Authorised Person” for the Trust’s electrical safety as defined in HTM 06-01;
• NHS estates experience.
