Finegreen are currently supporting a leading healthcare organisation in the appointment of a Quality Improvement Lead on an interim basis for up to 3 months.
The post will be working fully remotely.

Main Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the strategic aims for the organisation;
- Work with colleagues to develop areas for service and quality improvement; promoting the use of robust systems and processes that ensure there is continuing improvement in the delivery of quality care for patients;
- Work in conjunction with the Heads of Nursing and support the Heads of Service to develop “quality from within”;
- Ensure that systems and processes are in place to support a systematic approach to reporting, assessment, investigation, analysis, evaluation and management of clinical and non-clinical risk; including supporting the management of adverse incidents when they occur;
- Expected to work alongside relevant staff to deliver a programme of work to deliver the Quality Strategy and Nursing Strategy;
- Work as part of the quality team to ensure all risks to quality are managed in a timely way and that outcomes lead to change, drive ongoing assurance and inform improvement initiatives;
- Promote quality improvement / quality assurance measures, act as a resource, and promote innovation, sharing of information and best practice, highlight local developments and networking opportunities;
- Provide advice to a range of multi-professional staff particularly for the complexities of statutory requirements e.g. CQC.
- Significant experience of undertaking investigations and supporting staff to embed good incident investigating practice into operational delivery;
- Ability to challenge current thinking positively and creatively in order to develop new and improved policy and working practices;
- Maintain a consistent, visible, high profile in clinical areas of responsibility, ensuring accessibility for patients, family, carers and staff and having a lead role in promoting improvements in the patient experience, promoting personalised care.
