Job Details

Finegreen are currently supporting a leading healthcare organisation in the appointment of a Head of Nursing and Quality Standards on an interim basis for up to 3 months.

The post will be working fully remotely.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Director of Nursing to develop, further plan and implementation of Quality and Professional Nursing Standards to additional teams due to new service provision/acquisitions;
  • Working across the multiple sites engaging with Heads of Nursing/Community Services and local teams to implement the Quality Strategy using a risk-based methodology;
  • Identification of areas of risks to Quality through the due diligence process linking in with DoN to review and action plan using GIRFT methodology;
  • Provide strong nursing leadership around Quality and Professional Standards, although not directly line managing individuals, will need to engage with all levels of staffing on a daily basis;
  • Responsible for Modelling professional behaviours within the teams in line with company ethos.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Registered General Nurse with (primary care experience ideally)
  • Knowledgeable re Quality Improvement methodologies, including RCA trained. Evidence of delivering quality improvements on a large scale
  • Demonstrable development and delivery of improved professional standards;
  • Experience in use of GIRFT methodology;
  • Excellent report writing skills;
  • Ability to be responsive to timescales and changing priorities, also communicate to differing groups of individuals.
