A North West NHS organisation have a new interim opportunity for a Head of HR & OD.
Our client are looking to appoint a HR professional with proven leadership ability, to lead the Employment Services, Employee Relations, Workforce Information and Organisation Development and Learning teams.

Main responsibilities of the role:
- Managing the effective operation of the Employment Services function, reviewing and improving processes in line with increasing digitalisation and ensuring excellence in customer service;
- To manage a team of HR business partners;
- Develop relationships – working and behavioural – between the teams to improve both the internal team culture and customer service delivery;
- Lead the engagement with customers, current and potential, to enhance reputation and secure future and additional contracts;
- To build and maintain good working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders on a range of business sensitive issues, including compliance with performance targets and strategic objectives and input into the development of service delivery measures for the areas of responsibility;
- Drive high standards of team performance, including addressing any behavioural or performance issues within the teams and with individuals;
- Negotiate and influence outcomes for sensitive, complex workforce matters with senior leaders including Executive Board members.
- Management qualification or equivalent operational leadership experience in a HR function;
- Specialist and expert knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions;
- Highly developed understanding of employment legislation, case law and HR best practice;
- Experience in managing complex and sensitive employment relations issues;
- Experience of leading and managing a team, inspiring confidence and facilitating development.
