Practicus is proud to be supporting the Covid-19 Vaccination Programme to the British population.
We are looking to identify capable managers who can take up roles in the Covid-19 Vaccine Programme or Cell, which is the emergency programme set up in response to the need to roll out the Government's Covid-19 vaccine programme to the British population.
The Vaccination roll out programme has reached the operational phase. The Operations Centre needs to resource the manning of two key mailboxes which will receive queries and be required to turnaround comprehensive responses. These are:
* Vaccine Centres - 'Vaccine Centres Group Support'
* Hospital Hubs - 'Hospital Hubs Group Support'

The mailboxes will need to be manned 7/7 days running from 8.00 - 20.00 hours. The team is currently looking at managing enquiries from 7 sites (called tranches) but this will grow to several hundred during the rollout. They will be provided with a clear escalation path for queries and a full contact list.
Each member of the team needs to:
* Manage at pace the two inboxes, disseminating or responding to a range of enquiries from the sites on a variety of topics.
* Attend key twice daily cadence meetings and build knowledge gained from these meetings into responses.
* Understand the aims and objectives of the programme fully to enable them to answer queries effectively.
* Write and compile succinct and informative FAQs to support query handling.
* Develop and manage an internal query tracking process (based on the ICC process) in order to provide governance, assurance and an audit trail/

Background needed
* Operations/Project Management experience in the NHS is essential.
* Ability to prioritise under pressure.
* It requires a combination of strong operational focus with good policy writing/communications writing skills, as the post holders will be required to write official documents for use across the service.
The postholders will need to be flexible regarding working hours/days as this service will be a shared responsibility across the team.
