A large NHS organisation is currently seeking a very capable individual who has experience in Mental Health Nursing, also project and programme management skills within healthcare settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Lead on several work streams across Mental Health Pathways, reviewing current service provision in some cases with service lines that are quite high profile within the locality;
  • Stakeholder management and engagement with services providers, understanding how the services operate now and recommendations that can be made – also how the services might be commissioned moving forward;
  • Utilising the 5 year Forward View set out by the NHS in relation to the improvement of services to user groups and innovation in practice moving forward;
  • Working as part of a system wide MH task force, considering all aspects services currently and ensuring that they are commissioned in line with NICE and the 5 year Forward View in the future.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Current registration to the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse;
  • Experience working within senior level operational roles across the NHS, also must have experience on the commissioning of services;
  • Extensive understanding and track record of managing high profile Programmes/Projects of work, within specific deadlines set.
