We have a new interim opportunity for Workforce Programme Manager within a South East NHS organisation. The post holder will lead on the design, delivery and sustainability of Nursing workforce sustainability transformation aligned to the workforce strategy.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • Leading and evaluating the nursing workforce sustainability programme, supporting the Director of Workforce;
  • Leading the development, coordination and delivery of a system-wide nursing workforce sustainability strategy and policy;
  • Supporting the design, development and implementation of nursing supply intervention projects;
  • Providing associated expertise and services to support and develop on-going development of the workforce planning and redesign processes;
  • Coordinating nursing supply intervention projects and their interdependencies;
  • Defining the programme governance;
  • Managing and utilising resources across nursing supply intervention projects;
  • Managing key stakeholders’ communication.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Experience of NHS policy, particularly related to OD, Engagement and Leadership;
  • Experience of leading large-scale organisational change and setting expectations;
  • Evidence of the successful development and implementation of cultural change to drive organisational performance;
  • Demonstrate commitment to and experience of partnership working;
  • Demonstrable experience of collaborative working and ability to influence transformational change.
