Job Details

A large NHS organisation is currently seeking a very capable individual who has experience working with service users around AED at a managerial level. 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Take overall clinical management responsibility for all aspects of service delivery and operational matters for the Adult Eating Disorder (AED) Service across the locality;
  • be an integral member of the service’ leadership Team and to ensure consistent, effective Terms of reference are developed to support the wider service delivery and development;
  • Promoting collaborative working with the Leadership team and wider team to provide an evidence based, high quality, responsive and safe service that meets the needs of the client group across the locality;
  • Work towards a culture where services are seamlessly integrated and/or work collaboratively to promote the best patient experience;
  • Implement and monitor arrangements for partnership working across key pathways;
  • Assist with the transformation and development of services, leading on agreed projects;
  • Develop robust interagency relationships with all key partner agencies, internal and external, including, CAMHS, AMHT, Secondary Health Care and Primary Health Care Networks, supporting the development of integrated care pathways and locality working;
  • Ensure the patient’ views are included in Service Developments, and implement structures to incorporate users at all levels, promoting a culture of participation and co-production within the service.

A successful candidate will have:
  • Current professional registration with NMC/HCPC;
  • Experience in an Eating Disorder setting (Inpatient or Community);
  • Experience of Management supervision and case management in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to liaise with external agencies e.g. primary care, social and health care;
