Job Details

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Digital Project Manager within a Health Charity in London. The post holder will work as part of the Project Management Office to ensure the Content, Sponsorship and Brand Leverage project is delivered efficiently, to time, on budget and with appropriate governance.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • To lead all project management aspects of this digital project ensuring project systems, controls and tools are adhered to, timelines are met and good practice project management principles are adhered to in conjunction with PMO processes;
  • Lead the end-to-end project process, building strong and effective relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, translating their requests into technical tasks for digital team and external developers and designers and addressing any conflicts;
  • Consult and collaborate with the relevant internal and external teams to publish and manage project plans that include measurable success factors, timescales, scope, risks, dependencies, required resources, skills and effort required;
  • Ensuring cross organisational representation and PMO processes and methods are adhered to;
  • Ensure robust processes are in place to maintain accurate and timely records of all project activities using PMO templates and tools, such as, but not limited to, risk and issue logs, decision logs, benefits logs and project plans;
  • Create essential project documentation including briefs, Statements of Work, technical specifications, detailed GANTS and risk registers;
  • Co-ordinate workflow between internal teams and external agencies, ensuring project components are effectively tasked, communicated and handed over so that deadlines are met;
  • Oversee design, development, production and testing of projects – reporting on progress against plan/KPIs and on any potential disputes, changing requirements or project slippage in a timely manner and assist in coordinating any solutions to the problems identified pre and post launch.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Prince 2/Agile Project Management qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working on digital projects with agencies and external providers
  • Demonstrable experience and credibility to be able to quickly engage with business users and create a sense of collaboration amongst members of the project
  • Good understanding and experience of supporting the development and implementation of content strategy; including content audit, creation, migration and SEO.
