Job Details

We have a new opportunity for an e-Rostering Systems Lead within a South East NHS Trust, to manage the implementation and administration of the e-rostering system throughout the Trust.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • To manage and provide system support on the e-Rostering system;
  • To work together with the Trust’s IT department to resolve any service issue that may arise;
  • When rolling out to new departments to identify with the HR Leads any interventions and support needed for the introduction of new working practices and working patterns, and ensuring that policies and procedures are in place to facilitate their introduction;
  • Liaise with the HR Leads on key areas of change and highlight any requirement for changes in working practices;
  • Provide information to support any formal consultation and negotiation that may be necessary in relation to key areas of change, working patterns and terms and conditions;
  • Identify issues and concerns amongst staff which may hamper or delay roll-out to departments;
  • Undertake analysis of the E-Rostering System with service managers, and advise on how roster practices might be changed or refined to improve quality or efficiency;
  • To participate in any user group discussions and attend meetings as required, and through these groups be responsible for communicating the enhancements to the system required to meet the business and operational needs of the Trust.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Experience of administering the NHS Electronic Staff Record system
  • Experience of administering a complex staff payroll database
  • Working to tight deadlines under pressure
  • Experience of working with Oracle based reporting systems.
