Job Details
The successful candidate will have significant experience of Operational/Service Improvement within an Acute setting, and expertise within improvement and transformation. Proven experience of Elective Care/Diagnostic pathways is essential.
The role will be remunerated under the NHSI Agency Caps at Band 7.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead specific service improvement and redesign projects across the Trust to deliver improved outcomes and waiting times for patients;
- Train and motivate an effective team for the delivery of agreed project goals;
- Take lead responsibility for delivering national and internal targets;
- Create and implement performance management systems;
- Develop effective working partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives;
- Identify where projects will impact on quality, safety and operational/financial performance.
- Post graduate qualification or equivalent level of experience;
- Project Management qualification i.e. PRINCE 2;
- Significant experience of managing across elective care pathways.
