Job Details
As this is a key position within the organisation, the successful candidate will have experience of operational service management for Theatres.
The role will be remunerated under the NHSI Agency Caps at Band 8B/8C.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overall operational management of the designated services, including business planning, financial management, service performance and quality standards;
- Take lead responsibility for continuous service improvement through the design and implementation of robust management systems for the delivery of 18 week pathways;
- Manage the implementation of new service initiatives by developing stakeholder relationships, creating operational policies and SOPs;
- Develop effective working relationships between multi-disciplinary teams by engaging the commitment of the Specialist teams, external stakeholders and corporate functions.
- Degree or working towards / post graduate management or business qualification;
- Significant experience of operational service management for Theatres;
- Experience of service redesign and policy development within the NHS.
