An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Operations Manager for Theatres, for up to 3 months in the first instance.
As this is a key position within the organisation, the successful candidate will have experience of managing Theatres.
The role will be remunerated under the NHSI Agency Caps at Band 8c.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Overall operational management of the designated services, including business planning, financial management, service performance and quality standards;
- Take lead responsibility for continuous service improvement through the design and implementation of robust management systems for delivery of the pathway;
- Manage the implementation of new service initiatives by developing stakeholder relationships;
- Develop effective working relationships between multi-disciplinary teams by engaging the commitment of the Specialist teams, external stakeholders and corporate functions.
- Masters degree or working towards / post graduate management or business qualification;
- Expert knowledge of strategic and operational management;
- Significant experience of managing Theatres.
