An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS Organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Personal Assistant, for a 3 month period in the first instance.

The postholder will be a key member of the Senior Management support team and will operate as Personal Assistant to the relevant senior manager.

The role will be remunerated at Band 5 under AfC/NHSI Agency Caps.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Provide an efficient and comprehensive personal assistant and secretarial service to the senior management team;
  • Undertake a range of high-level administrative tasks that include, diary management, co-ordination and liaison activities, meeting preparation and minutes, data gathering, analysis and reporting;
  • Oversee admin support staff and ensure overall smooth running of the office;
  • Lead on complaints, both verbal and written, liaising with all relevant parties ensuring timely responses available to appropriate deadlines;
  • Financial responsibility, including authorising and coding invoices, maintaining spread sheets of expenditure and budget information.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • An education to degree-level or equivalent;
  • Significant proven experience of working with senior management at board level as a Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant;
  • Experience within the NHS.
