An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for a large healthcare organisation who is looking to appoint a CHC Assessor - Learning Disabilities.
The post will be working in Central London between the top of a band 7 – 8a, inside IR35.
The post will be predominantly remote working across 3 boroughs.
Main Responsibilities:

Main Responsibilities:
- The main purpose of the role is to support a clear a backlog of DSTs and Reviews;
- Develop and sustain relationships with others that create a sound base for communication, services delivery and partnership working as required;
- Ensure that the service is delivered in a compassionate and sensitive way to support individuals and their families in often distressing episodes of their lives;
- Required to make independent decisions on key aspects of patient/service user care, funding and service provision on a day-to-day basis, based on application of policy, legal frameworks in which they are required to practice;
- Keep abreast of changes and developments in LD, Mental Health Policy and attend in-service training and courses as required;
- Promote a culture of learning and personal development for staff by leading by example.
- Significant experience of working in a clinical setting, must be an RMN / RNLD;
- Knowledge and understanding of NHS developments, policies, and priorities in relation to Learning Disabilities healthcare provision;
- Experience working in an LD setting;
- Demonstrate both managerial and written skills in previous post;
- The ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and in writing, information to clients, their families, carers, and other professionals both within and outside the NHS.
