Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) provides a broad and diverse range of services for patients across mental health, physical health, learning disability and drug and alcohol services. With an annual budget of £163 million, we employ 3,400 people, a staff bank of 470 people and have an active volunteer base. We currently provide ‘place based’ services across a geographical footprint of Doncaster, Rotherham and North Lincolnshire, serving a population of 735,000 people. As a significant player in the region, we need to respond to the needs of our diverse population and foster new ways of working within the wider health and care partnerships to ensure seamless pathways of care. The Trust has a strong financial track record, and it faces some operational challenges as it adapts to the changing needs of the communities we serve.   

We are now seeking a new Executive Director of Finance and Performance, a role with a broad range of responsibilities including contracting and performance management, estates and facilities, and all aspect of finance.   As a board member reporting to the CEO, you will ensure the delivery of integrated services that focus on optimum service user care and efficient use of resources There is an external aspect to the role too, contributing to the development of partnerships within our three health and social care place-based systems and our two Integrated Care Systems.

You will be CCAB qualified with significant leadership experience gained at a senior (board or immediately sub-board) level within a complex NHS organisation, successfully delivering against challenging performance targets. You will also be able to evidence impressive leadership skills including the ability to work collaboratively and flexibly on the complex and cross­cutting business and service development agenda.
