A large healthcare provider is currently seeking an experienced Senior Nursing professional who has experience in workforce planning from a clinical perspective, also understands recruitment campaigns to attract healthcare workers (specifically HCAs). 

Main Responsibilities:
  • The key aspect of this role is providing clinical leadership for the current recruitment and retention campaign, this recruitment is focused on healthcare support workers for the organisation;
  • The plan is to minimum and hopefully move toward having no current vacancies within this skill set for the organisation in the coming months;
  • This person will conduct (virtually) One Stop Recruitment Shops, Recruitment Campaigns with the wider HR Team support utilising current resources and finding innovative new solutions to staffing/workforce challenges;
  • Will be Lead within the organisation for the Retention Steering Group.
  • Engage with external organisations for example Education facilities, apprenticeship sources to build a presence for the organisation to attract workforce;
  • Clinical Lead on the suitability of applicants to the roles, via enhanced screening of applicants once shortlisted for interview.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Must be an RGN with current registration with the NMC, would be advantageous to have experience within a Community based setting but not essential;
  • Experience in the recruitment and retention of workforce, for example worked within a managerial role and held responsibility for this previously;
  • Project management experience, ideally within the field of Recruitment and Retention, but basis understanding of the principles of how a project runs are essential.
