Job Details
Candidates must have significant experience of Operational Service Management within Surgical services. Experience within Trauma and Orthopaedics is desirable.
The role will be remunerated under the NHSI Agency Caps at Band 8b.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overall operational management of Trauma and Orthopaedics services;
- Provision of continuous service improvement through the design and implementation of robust management systems for the improvement of patient care pathways;
- Responsible for the delivery of local, regional and national targets and waiting time KPIs;
- Identify where projects will impact on quality, safety and operational/financial performance.
- Masters degree in healthcare or management or equivalent level of experience;
- Substantial experience of managing Surgical services or Trauma and Orthopaedics services;
- Significant experience of operational management within an Acute setting.
