Job Type

We're working with a large NHS Foundation Trust in North West of England who are seeking an experienced interim to lead their Corporate Affairs, Corporate Governance and Board Secreariate function.

The successful interim will be the custodian of the Constitution and codes of conduct, ensuring transparency, probity and accountability in the conduct of the Trust's business. You will take the lead on all Board Secretariat functions and support services and have oversight of the Trust's annual meetings and its engagement with members. In addition, you will lead specific corporate services and as Trust Secretary, you will act as principal advisor to the Chair, Chief Executive, Board of Directors and Council of Governors on all issues relating to corporate governance.

Ideally commencing in February to allow a handover, we anticipate a 3 to 5 month contract to allow the Trust to appoint a substantive into this Band 8D post. Whilst flexibility and some remote working is anticipated, this role will require some on-site presence.

We're seeking applications from interims who have significant experience of Corporate Governance and Assurance as well as experience at performing a Trust Secretarial role. Whilst we are seeking an interim for the role until they recruit substanively, applicants who may wish to be considered for temporary to permanent are also welcome to apply.

Please email Lisa.lloyd@practicus.com as I would welcome a confidential conversation.
