Job Details
Main role responsibilities
- Onsite packager required to support a Windows 10 rollout in the trust, working with the project team to deliver applications through SCCM to new devices
- Must be familiar with standards based application packaging in particular:
- Application remediation and compatibility (permissions, compatibility etc – essentially make the app work on Windows 10)
- Flexera Admin studio experience is desirable
- Transforming MSI applications
- Re-capturing applications as MSI or MSI-X
- Must be able to work with Powershell scripts
- Must be able to use custom actions and scripts in MSI’s
- SCCM 2016, in particular:
- Creating/modifying task sequences
- Able to import/configure applications, programs, deployments and collections, linking them to AD groups
- Collection queries/membership rules/Variables
- Familiar with detection methods for non-MSI applications
- Dependency configuration
