Interim Project Manager

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for a healthcare organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Project Manager, for a fixed term contract of 12 months.

The postholder will be responsible for leading several projects to support the organisation to achieve its operational aims. Candidates must have a strong track record in project management and delivering project outcomes within a healthcare organisation.

The role will be remunerated under the NHSI Agency Caps at Band 6/7.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the planning and delivery of defined projects, including project governance, control and budget management;
• Create implementation plans and measurable outcomes for the delivery of defined projects, including reporting cycles;
• Develop the business needs from stakeholders into clear project documentation;
• Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships – coordinating and motivating key partners to engage with the projects;
• Keep internal stakeholders updated of project progress.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Project Management qualification i.e. PRINCE 2;
• Significant experience of project planning and delivery within a healthcare organisation.
