DEPARTMENT: Castle Buildings, Stormont, Belfast

The Department of Health is seeking to recruit a senior professional for an exciting opportunity at Deputy Secretary (Grade 3) level. The CDIO is accountable for all aspects of management, governance and exploitation for digital technologies and information collected to enhance services for staff, patients and other service users. The post holder will manage the transition of the eHealth function from the Health and Social Care Board to the Department of Health and integrate and resource it appropriately with the information/data and analytics functions.

Further appointments may be made from this competition should this position become vacant, within the lifetime of the competition, which is one year. Secondment from a current employer will be considered.
