We are proud to be making a difference for 14 million people across the health and care landscape, working with teams across all levels of systems, joining the dots to help achieve the best possible outcomes for people, communities and populations.

2020 has seen unprecedented demands on the health and care systems, in turn causing the way we work within health and care systems to be redefined – from how we innovate, collaborate and lead to how we operationally deliver services and support and grow our workforce. SCW is a pivotal partner in supporting these changes, from stepping up to set up new national Covid response services supporting hundreds of thousands of patients, to supporting development of system-based leadership at local level.

The Transformation Director – Workforce and OD is a new post, reflecting our ambitions to increase the impact we can make in these areas. With a strong strategic focus, you’ll be responsible for leading the development and delivery of the SCW’s OD and Workforce consultancy solutions, with a particular emphasis on our core values;

  • Insightful - Developing existing as well as new opportunities for growing the support we provide and continuing to evolve our support offer underpinned by robust SCW tools, models and approaches.
  • Respectful - Leading the design of complex change projects and consultancy assignments and leading and motivating high-performing multidisciplinary teams in delivering assignments for customer organisations.

As an advocate of OD & Workforce, you’ll work across a wide range of SCW teams, supported by OD and workforce leaders and their teams, to ensure that we use the best of our SCW combined capabilities to deliver dynamic, innovative and impactful consultancy solutions for our clients.

You’ll be able to demonstrate a breadth of experience managing and delivering OD and workforce services, projects, programmes or initiatives including (but not limited to); Developing strategic organisational development interventions; Creating senior leadership development and culture-change programmes; Advising on organisational design and workforce structures.

A collaborative leader, with gravitas and credibility at a senior level, you will be used to working with a wide range of teams to meet needs around complex system change.
