Transformational Lead: Independent Health and Social Care Sector

Negotiable location, 35 hours, Permanent

Are you prepared to challenge and lead change? Do you have knowledge and experience of working in the independent health and social care sector? We're looking for an experienced and innovative leader to drive forward the RCN's work to support our members in the independent health and social care sector. With significant project management experience and a positive attitude you will work closely with the Executive team and the Transformation and Innovation Directorate to deliver an ambitious programme of change.

The independent health and social care sector is growing and changing - adopting new models of care, integration of health and social care, new ways of commissioning and service provision

The Royal College of Nursing need to change too in order to support and meet the needs of our members in this sector including those working in general practice, care homes, third sector, as well as private services and those hosted by local authorities.

It's a job full of possibilities. You will provide strategic and operational advice turning strategy into tangible action plans and leading the development and delivery of improvements and innovation programmes. A collaborative approach and willingness to challenge the status quo are essential.

As Transformational Lead you will be in a unique position to influence and develop the RCN's approach and services for members working in the independent Health and Social Care sector, supporting the wider transformation of the world's largest nursing trade union.
