OH Nurse Team Manager

Band 8a, 37.5 hours / week

We are seeking an experienced, advanced and autonomous OH Practitioner to lead the OH Nurse team.

This exciting and pivotal role provides an opportunity to work with the current senior managerial and clinical teams to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive and clinically resilient occupational health nursing service in line with SEQOHS standards and Trust policies, to employees of University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust (UHP) and external clients.

Based in the Derriford Centre for Health & Wellbeing (DCHW), our department provides a full range OH services to our Trust as well as to external clients in the healthcare, education and industrial sectors.

Reporting to the Head of Occupational Health & Wellbeing, you will be able to demonstrate decision-making autonomy, with responsibility and accountability for ensuring the provision of a high quality OH Nursing function.

Through continuous clinical supervision, development and support to the nurse team, you will ensure on a daily basis, that the operational, clinical and educational requirements of the nurse team are met.

You will be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of management experience in team supervision and development at a senior grade.

A flexible approach with the capacity to meet deadlines and commitment to working as part of a team are important requirements.
