SERIOUS INCIDENTS INVESTIGATOR - CONTRACT - SOUTH EAST ENGLAND - NHS

 

An NHS organisation, based in South East England, are looking for a Serious Incidents Investigator, on an interim basis, to work on root cause analysis of their backlog of serious incidents for a minimum period of 3 months.

  • The role of the serious incidents investigator (SI Investigator) is to support the team and enable the easing of SI workload  and ensure delivery of the processes for the management of incidents, organisational learning and Duty of candour.
  • The SI Investigator will have their own caseload of investigations which they will lead and complete to a high standard.
  • The SI investigator role will support the junior members of the team to undertake robust investigations [in line with the root cause analysis methodology.] and to meet the required deadlines for submission to external stakeholders.
  • The post holder will take responsibility for the serious incident review panel process and obtaining assurance that organisational learning are being practiced.
  • Blended working (including remote) is being practised in the department.
