Job Details

Harrow has been developing over a number of years its Integrated Partnership, with a strong partnership across health and care providers to develop services for the people of Harrow.  During the Covid-19 pandemic, the integrated partnership has continued to grow and has developed into a robust local provider partnership, focusing on how to collectively use the resources and the experience of all partners.

This is an exciting and newly created Managing Director role, instigated at a critical time for our partnership.   The successful candidate will be able to lead partners, understand the Integrated Care System strategy and work with partners to understand how the key deliverables will be delivered for the residents of Harrow.  This role will require the successful candidate to lead across organisational boundaries, ensuring that they understand the operational needs of providers, but also how we can transform the services we offer.

Key to the role will be ensuring that we reduce health and care inequalities of our residents.  They will be transparent about our health inequalities, how we identify those priorities and target and design ways to reduce health inequalities.  Specifically the partnership will be focusing on not only COVID19 restoration but also specifically on mental health, diabetes and cardiovascular clinical pathways.  At the same time there will be a specific focus on how we support our residents to improve their underlying health and maximise independence.

The Managing Director will find a strong partnership that is focused on delivery and transformation.  They will help us plan and deliver the health and care of our residents, ensuring that it is integrated and improves access to the community.  They will lead the delivery of our Primary Care Networks, ensuring that they build skills and leadership locally.  They will also develop the partnership, ensuring that they embed and foster relationships across all providers, harnessing the expertise or each partner to drive forward our vision.

The successful candidate will be a confident and engaging leader who can bring stakeholders together for a collective aim, whilst managing the politics around conflicting objectives.  You must be a skilled negotiator and be able to hold people to account in a changing yet progressive environment.  The successful candidate is likely to come from either the NHS or Local Government sectors, and will have a track record of delivering programmes of change within these environments, whilst also developing integration and partnership working.

Company

Allen Lane is a specialist consultancy focusing on the NHS and supporting the sector on interim and permanent recruitment across Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, Commissioning and Project Management.

Allen Lane was established in 2004, after the founders having experienced successful careers in a large multinational consultancy. Their approach in setting up a smaller, more specialised business was to establish honest relationships through sound judgement and exceptional customer service, which still continues to this day.  Today every member of the Allen Lane team shares this approach, founded on transparency, flexibility and long term objectives, and we all view recruitment as a career and not as a job.

We are an approved supplier on the CCS non medical non clinical framework and work closely with our clients in the healthcare sector to understand their business, the challenges they face and to introduce them to the right people to help them overcome those challenges.  Over the past 17 years our influence and networks within the sector have developed considerably, but despite our growth in reputation and turnover, we continue to pride ourselves in offering the special kind of service you would expect from a niche “owner run” business.
