Lead Category Manager - Scientific

Our client is a large Public Sector Organisation that is an international leader in its field. They are looking to recruit an interim Lead Category Manager to support their Scientific and Bio-Medical-Lab focused spend.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Must have extensive experience purchasing Scientific equipment, services and consumables
• Must be full MCIPS qualified; PRINCE2 desirable
• Particularly interested in speaking to candidates with Pathology/Research University Lab spend experience
• Confident and familiar with creating and implementing multi-million-pound frameworks
• Recent and extensive experience leading OJEU and EU law compliant tenders
• Highly numerate, technically minded with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills
• Must be available to start within 1 month
