Finance Business Partner: Band 8B – x 2 roles
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a world-leading cancer centre specializing in cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education. The Royal Marsden operates from two centres, in Chelsea and Sutton. We employ over 3,900 staff in a diverse range of careers including nursing, medical, science, radiography, pharmacy, occupational therapy, finance and administrative services.
Due to a recent internal and external promotion, two Finance Business Partner opportunities have arisen. These positions report to the Head of Financial Management and each have a small team with one direct report. These are two excellent opportunities to work with a range of clinical and corporate directorates, gaining a great understanding of the Trust as a whole and making a real impact. You will be joining a collaborative, hardworking and inclusive finance department who encourage development and high standards.
You will be acting as a business adviser, providing expert financial, commercial and strategic advice to directorates and the wider Trust.
Key responsibilities of the roles include:
- Leading the development and production of the annual financial plan for the divisions
- Supporting the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of Business Cases that further the strategic objectives of the division
- Developing financial strategies for the divisions that enable the Trust to meet its objectives
- Assisting the divisions in the negotiation of contracts for the provision and procurement of services
- Providing positive support as well as robust challenge when working with stakeholders

You will be a natural leader who has a keen eye for detail, as well as managing and building relationships.
