Job Details
Practicus are partnering with an NHS organisation who are urgently seeking Interim Band 8d Head of Midwifery.
Lead and participate in service improvement initiatives specific to Maternity services across the trust, in collaboration with the wider management teams. This will involve being proactive in the provision of Midwifery advice to inform business cases, business planning and strategic development linking closely with the patient experience groups.
Lead on strengthening governance procedures, line managing a small team, and display good leadership skills. Several education programmes, which include compliance and training.
Essential:
- Registered Midwife
- A track record of service improvement and to work across organisational boundaries.
- Implementation of range of quality and clinical governance initiatives to develop practice.
