About the role and our team
Join our team as the Head of System Coordination and Patient Flow on the Isle of Man!
As part of your role you will provide clinical and operational leadership to the Hospitals Patient Flow Team within Manx Care, the new body responsible for the delivery of health and care services on the Island.
You will responsible for the effective and efficient management of capacity and will be the key contact for clinical and operational flow issues throughout the organisation.
This role allows you to utilise your knowledge and skills to successfully lead a team who provide on-site cover 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As well as this, you’ll support staff to successfully achieve all capacity related performance and quality standards, including the implementation of the SAFER bundle across our acute sites.
You will also be responsible for providing clinical and managerial oversight to the Temporary Staffing Office, delivering a key strategic priority of developing and implementing a Clinical Rostering Service.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate highly evolved clinical, management and leadership skills and possess the operational experience necessary to resolve capacity related pressures. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, this role could be for you!

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
