A large NHS organisation is currently seeking a very capable individual, experienced in NHS related RTT targets for surgery/planned care ideally Trauma and Orthopaedics or ENT. 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Working with the System Lead in the locality to improve access to planned care post COVID 19, looking at the services offered across the area presently, working with providers to improve waiting list targets/RTT;
  • Building relationships with the NHS providers to manage and improve access to services appropriately and within the given providers specialities;
  • Improve relationships inter Trusts in the locality to open communications to a new way of working together to enhance patient pathways and overall care;
  • Understand the challenges the providers have presently around RTT/Patient Access trying to prevent any unnecessary delays in treatment of patients;
  • Work within a wider Programme of Improvement, sharing best practice, knowledge and methodologies across the ICS/CCGs locality;
  • Provide project management methodologies in practice to impact services positively, whilst improving patient care.
A successful candidate will have:
  • Significant NHS based experience, ideally within an operational role covering Trauma and Orthopaedics or ENT in a large acute trust at Band 7/Band 8a level;
  • Must understand NHS targets around RTT, demonstrated on CV and within the last 2 years;
  • Project Management/Service Improvement experience within the NHS around planned care;
